TREE OF LIFE
I was very lucky to shoot 2nd unit for two of my heroes, Terrence Malick and Emmanuel Lubezki, a.s.c.. Working under their direction was an extraordinary experience. I learned so much. It is very rewarding to see within the trailer several of the shots I made, including the last image showing the boy reaching upward, and several of the childhood scenes. Additionally, seeing the image on the one-sheet and knowing it had been drawn from a shot I'd made was hugely satisfying.
